Tasting pots and ice cream dishes at the London Canal Museum, Kings Cross

As a volunteer at LCM, Mandy gives talks on the history of the Victorian Ice Trade and demonstrates Victorian ice cream making. Visitors are offered samples using her little tasting pots. The design, inspired by the waffle cone, has been applied using a small square earring. Her slightly larger ice cream dishes (10cm diameter) are now on sale in the LCM shop and Christmas Tree decorations were donated for fundraising. The products are raw-glazed, once-fired to stoneware, dishwasher and oven-proof. She recommends a visit! Mail order on request.

As a committee member of the DCPG, Mandy has supported these 3 events hosted by them this Spring/Summer - their amazing Potters Open Day (Herts University) - March 2022, the fantastic public Medieval Clay City event (during The Alban Pilgrimage at St Albans Cathedral) - June 2022, and the historic Hamada/Leach Centenary Celebration (Herts University) - July 2022.
